Gracefully, Joyfully, Colorfully

It's Wednesday and Thanksgiving Eve, so I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!! And we have a new Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz.

Now here are details about our Sketch Challenge!

Our sponsor for November is TLC Creations

Our lucky November winner will receive a $10 prize of digis to use at the Icraft store.

Here is this week's sketch.

And here is my DT card.

I used an image and a sentiment from the  "Autumn Leaves You Breathless" digital set by our sponsor, TLC Creations. I printed the arched image and then layered the cut out sentiment over it and shaded with my ink pads.

Hope you will come by the Outlawz Sketch Challenge and see what my talented teammates have come up with!

Thanks for dropping in! I truly appreciate you taking the time to come by and look and leave a comment!

A girl's best friend.............

I think of the saying "Diamonds are a girl's best friend."  But no......... diamonds are pretty to look at, but I will take my dog any day!! This week, one of the themes at Festive Friday's Outlawz Challenge is My Dog, My Best Friend. And that is the theme I used this week for my Design Team inspiration card.

I used a Bugaboo image called GIRLPUPPYLOVE. First, I colored my image with Copic markers and used a white Sharpie fine point pen to add some texture to the dog's fur. My sentiment is stamped with a stamp by Penny Black. I stamped hearts and paw prints on my gold cardstock. Very "Clean and Simple" Card and took no time to put together!

The other themes this week at the Festive Friday's Challenge are Gathering Winter Wood, Get Well Card, and Christmas.

Bugaboo is always our sponsor for the Festive Friday's Challenge. Our lucky November winner will receive a great prize of 5 digital stamps of your choice from Bugaboo. Please visit the Bugaboo store. They are so generous with their prizes and we couldn't have challenges without them!!

And don't forget! Every Friday, Bugaboo has Freebie Friday. And they have made it so easy! You download right from the site and don't have to go through a check out procedure. Easy peasy!!  And there are always digis that are half price for a limited time!! A great way to stock up on your favs from your wish list!

I hope you will join us at Festive Fridays Challenge and you can get a head start on your Christmas cards, too!!

Thanks for visiting my blog and hope you will leave a comment. I appreciate you taking the time to do that so much!!

You're Never Too Old to Play in the Leaves -- Outlawz Sketch Challenge 11-15-2017

It's Wednesday, so we have a new Sketch Challenge at the Outlawz.   This month, we are posting some of our recipes for pumpkin desserts. Here is a recipe I haven't tried yet, but plan to this week! It is for Pumpkin Spice cookies and I found it at the Stone Gable blog.

Now here are details about our Sketch Challenge!

And here is my DT card.

I used an image and a sentiment from the  "Autumn Leaves You Breathless" digital set by our sponsor, TLC Creations.  I love that sentiment that You Are Never Too Old to Play in the Leaves. Who can resist jumping into a big pile of leaves?  Especially if you weren't the one that raked the giant pile, so...................if no one was watching, I just might romp around in the pile and take in the scents of the fall leaves. What a funny sight that would be!

The focal image of the leaves was a fun image to color. I just randomly grabbed some of my copic markers and started coloring. I used acorn paper by Stampin' Up! I just love plaid ribbon and found this pretty one at Michael's and it was on sale, too!!

Hope you will come by the Outlawz Sketch Challenge and see what my talented teammates have come up with!
